Join volunteer naturalists to explore open space under cover of darkness! We’ll hike about one mile round-trip on easy trails, enjoying the starlight, listening for night sounds, and learning about the nocturnal habits of the wildlife that live here. Bring water, closed-toe hiking shoes/boots, a flashlight, and your night vision. All ages are welcome.

I’m a long time Colorado resident and have explored many of its natural wonders and love to share them. Many years of outdoor naturalist programs mainly with adults including mountain, sunset and night hikes. Also outdoor programs for kids with birds, flowers, mammals, etc.
I have been a Volunteer Naturalist since 2014. I retired from medicine in 2013 after working 35 +years in Pediatrics and Public Health. I love to work with children of all ages, as well as Seniors. I am especially interested in animals which share our habitat, as well as the geology of Colorado and the Front Range.
