CancelI joined the Volunteer Ranger Corp in 2022. My husband is also a VR, and it's a pleasure patrolling together. Previously, I had fun working as a BCPOS Volunteer Naturalist from 1998–2023, and initially also wrote a few articles for IMAGES magazine. In 1999, I became an author of the Nature Detectives insert in IMAGES, and continued writing Nature Detectives until summer 2022. I enjoy meeting people on the trail, and sometimes even get to share some of the knowledge I gained as a VN and author.
I love to photograph and identify wildflowers. I enjoy many of the Boulder County parks, but I am most familiar with the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm.
