Share treats while exploring local history and mountain lore. These events take place on the second Friday evening of the month, July-October. October's event: CariBOO-- an evening of haunted tales and mythical creatures, some from Colorado's mining past, hosted at the Mining Museum with Rocky Mountain Storyteller Wynn Montgomery and Nederland Library Director, Elektra Greer. This family friendly event promises a few thrills and chills for every age (with the most haunting tales toward the end of the evening). Please register for this event so we can be sure to have enough ghoulish treats and monster cookies! Come in costume for added fun! Please register one adult for every 2-4 children; program is designed for children/families. Adults must supervise their children. Children must supervise their adults.
