Hey kids! Boulder County's amazing search and rescue dogs, Scout and Zee, want to meet you and teach you what to do if you get lost in the outdoors. When park visitors become lost, rangers and sheriff’s deputies use search and rescue dogs to find them. These special dogs are trained to sniff out the track of a lost person. While Scout and Zee search from the ground, rescue helicopters search from the air. After you meet the dogs, a Flight for Life helicopter and it's flight crew will pay us a visit! For kids ages 5-12, but all family members are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and hiking shoes.
