Join volunteer naturalists for a moderate 2-mile hike and learn about the ecology and behavior of our local mountain lions and black bears. We’ll talk about why the foothills are such good habitat for these animals, and how we can be safe in lion and bear country. We will also watch for wildlife signs and spring wildflowers along the trail. Please bring water, sunscreen, closed-toed hiking shoes/boots, and binoculars if you have them.
