Join volunteer naturalists for a hike in the high country to look for signs of wildlife activity, including tracks, scat, feathers, fur, and browse marks on trees. We will also learn about the many ways that wildlife survives winter in the Rocky Mountains. Ski or hiking poles are recommended due to possible icy trail conditions. Registration required.

VN Class of 2009 I find nature to be endlessly fascinating and love sharing my knowledge and leading interpretive hikes where I hope to inspire others in appreciation and stewardship of our precious wildlife and wild lands. In 1975 I moved to Boulder and learned about the flora and fauna of the area and hiked the Flatirons to the Divide. During 20 years on Kauai, HI , I volunteered at a Wildlife Refuge and Botanic Garden. Back to my beloved Colorado and sharing my passion for nature again!
I’m a long time Colorado resident and have explored many of its natural wonders and love to share them. Many years of outdoor naturalist programs mainly with adults including mountain, sunset and night hikes. Also outdoor programs for kids with birds, flowers, mammals, etc.
